Sue Banner is an artist and children's book author/illustrator whose vibrant acrylic and watercolour paintings are inspired by the beauty of the natural world. From dramatic waterfalls and sweeping landscapes to historic town clocks and much-loved local parks, her work captures the character, colour and atmosphere of the places that inspire her.

Places such as The Lake District, the dramatic hills of North Yorkshire and the rugged Northumberland coastline. All are favourites to visit and provide constant inspiration, as does her now home of Darlington, where she has lived for the past 20-plus years.

Original paintings and fine art prints are available from the gallery, alongside Sue's beautifully illustrated children's picture books, each created with the same passion for storytelling, nature and creativity.
